I mean … who thought even a few months ago that life would look like it does today? If someone had come along and said to any one of us that in a few months time, a global virus would turn our lives upside down, inside out and back to front, we just wouldn’t have believed them. It’s a situation we couldn’t even have imagined outside of a Hollywood film set. But. In a world of uncertainty, upheaval and challenge, we must always encourage each other to look for the positives, for the little gold threads that weave themselves through our lives even when times are hard, and to embrace the things we really can feel grateful for.
For the first few days and even week or so of lockdown, I really did feel like I was living on a movie set. A world where we stay inside our own houses, only going out for essential shopping, helping the vulnerable or for a session of exercise once a day.
